December 30, 1930 - March 13, 2022

It is with great sadness  and a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Mr. Luigi De Ruvo at the age of 91 on March 13th, 2022.

Luigi was a kind and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. His kindness, hardworking  and joyful personality is what everyone will remember him by and everyone also knows him as “EL Capitano”!

He leaves to mourn his brother Angelo and sister in law Ninetta,  his children; Nicola (Emma), Mary (John), Isabella (Randy), Francesco (Line), Anna (Roberto), as well as his grandchildren Louie (Claudia), Daniel (Harly), Amanda (Micheal), Christina (Sherman), Francesca, Ricardo and Victoria as well as his great grandchildren Ariana, Leo and Sofia and his nieces and nephews.

Rest in peace we will miss you eternally.

You will be able to follow a live stream on March 18  as of 9:00.  


Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on March 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Complexe Funéraire Loreto (4975 boul des Grandes Prairies, St-Léonard, QC, H1R 1A5) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7)
