Joseph Minicucci

February 28, 1942 - April 13, 2022

Giuseppe (Joe) Minicucci, retired business owner and mechanic. His zest for life will be sadly missed and always remembered.

Giuseppe (Joe) Minicucci passed away on April 13, 2022 at the age of 80 after a courageous  battle with cancer, at his home in Mascouche surrounded by his life partner Karen Ouimet her children Stacy and Tracy and his good friend Joanne Leblanc.

Joe is predeceased by his parents Francesco Minicucci and Lucia Sortina, his brothers Pasquale and Mike.

Joe is survived by his son Danny (Daniela) his daughter Tania, his grandchildren Alessandro, Damiano, Olivia, Matteo. Also survived by his sister Maria, his sister-in-law Aulsia and Gina countless family and friends.

The simplest pleasures in life that brought him the greatest joy was family meals on Sundays. His garden was his pride and joy every late spring early summer he would be working the ground to get ready to plant. Joe could always be found in his garage either under a vehicle repairing something or just sitting enjoying a cigar.

Special thanks to the CLSC Lamater,  the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital staff and Dr Lavergne.

Joe will be sadly missed by all.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Colorectal Cancer Canada Society would be appreciated by the family.


Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on April 26, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolata Church (1700 Rue Jean-Talon E, Montréal, QC H2E 1T2) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7)
