Giuseppe Puglisi

Giuseppe Puglisi

March 11, 1966 - February 11, 2021

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of GIUSEPPE PUGLISI on Thursday February 11th, 2021 at the age of 54.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Pina Fantone, his loving daughters Cynthia and Bianca, his devoted parents Pina and Francesco, his cherished brothers, Franco (Lina), Robert (Stephanie) and Danny (Sandra), his nieces and nephews, as well as many relatives and numerous friends.

Giuseppe “Joe” will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, his bright smile and kind soul. The void in our hearts is inconsolable, he will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Unfortunately due to the present government restrictions, the visitation will be held for immediate family only and a private funeral service can be viewed by live-streaming via Facebook at www.pompeimontreal.org  by clicking on “Live” on Friday, February 19th, 2021 at 12:00pm and 6:00pm for Italy.

This is very difficult for all of us as Joe deserved to have all the people he adored there for him.  As of February 20th, 2021, you are all welcome to pay your respects at the Mausoleum of Le Cimetière de Laval, 5505 Rang du Bas-Saint-François, Laval, QC H7E 4P2.

always fun and ready for a good laugh or two.
I so enjoyed keeping in touch with you in Little Italy over the years, reminiscing of our high school days and our community.
Mostly, I’m glad you had a chance to bond with my brother Gino , I was happy he got to know you …….
    RIP old friend……RIP.

  2. My deepest condolences to the family.
Loved staying in touch over the years and seeing you in Little Italy.
You were a gentleman, full of fun and always had a smile for me as we joked …..
remembering our school days at Pius.
I’m glad my brother Gino had a chance to get to know you these last few years.
    RIP old friend ……RIP

  3. Dear Joe
Thank you for being the kind hearted person you were! Your smile lit up a room! You were always happy. I’ve never seen you angry! Always so positive and ambitious. Your kind heart will surely be missed. We know you fought till the end. Even through the pain you managed to still crack jokes and makes us all laugh. You were positive with everything, even when times were hard. Joe you may be gone but NEVER forgotten. I still hear you cracking dirty jokes lol. I’m glad I can remember you in a beautiful way! R.I.P until we meet again.

  4. Le nostre piu sincere condolianze a Pina, Cynthia, Bianca, alle famiglie Puglisi, alla famiglia Pasquale Fantone. Da: Anita, Letizia, Marlene, Liliana Degano e famiglie.

  5. I had the luck of meeting Joe through his daughter Cynthia. Though we spoke briefly on a dozen or so occasions it is the one conversation we had at Cortinas about 18 months ago. I had just been promoted at work and wanted a new pair of shoes (not surprisingly it took all my will power to not leave with 3). Joe happened to be there that Saturday with his brother and of course another friend just hanging out. We spoke for about a half hour about many things, as if I had known my whole life. It’s rare, in this day and age to find someone who has that trait, to easily tear down your social barriers in an instant and have you open up completely while laughing your butt off. I am grateful for the moment Joe. If anyone deserves to rest in peace brother, you do!

  6. I will always remember the good times Joe and I shared together while growing up. He was always soft spoken yet funny and had a huge loving heart ready to help anyone. I am so glad we spent some quality time in the last few months just chilling. He will never be forgotten. RIP Joe. We love you and will miss you immensely.

  7. To the Puglisi Family, my condolences from me and my family. So sorry to hear.
    Regards

    Roberto
