Giuseppe Giansante

December 19, 1936 - June 2, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Giuseppe Giansante on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, at the age of 85.

Beloved husband of the late Sandra Simboli Giansante, he will be greatly missed by his children Ennia Giansante (Alfonso Masciotra), Rita Giansante (late Richard St-Jean), and Giovanni Giansante (Yvette Torres), his loving grandchildren Amanda Masciotra (Stevens Millien), Melanie Masciotra (John Panunto), Stephane St-Jean (Melissa Correia), Jonathan St-Jean (Elise Renault-Roy), Olivia Giansante (Eric Hernandez), and Diego Giansante (Lola Lam Quang). He leaves to mourn his great-grandchildren, Adam Millien, Lea St-Jean, Eva Millien, Jessica Sofia Panunto, and Stella St-Jean, as well as many other family and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors at the CHUM on the 11th floor Pavilion D, also to the Palliative ward on the 8th floor for their exceptional care and compassion.

A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

You will be able to follow a live stream as of June 12 at 2:00 as  well as 7:00 and June 13 as of  9:00

 


Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on June 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mont Carmel church (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S 2A1) followed by burial at Le Repos Saint-François d'Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7)
