It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Filippo Maida at the age of 71, after a short illness. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Maria Butera, his cherished children Giuseppe (Katerina) and Rosa Maria (Domenico) and his grandchildren Demetra, Maria and Carmela, as well as many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Heart Institute foundation or the Cedar Cancer foundation would be appreciated.
Place of funeral
The funeral will take place on October 29, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Maria Ausiliatrice church (8555, Maurice-Duplessis Street, Montreal (Qc) H1E 4C3) followed by burial at Parc du Souvenir cemetery (2500 Avenue des Perron,Laval QC H7J 1G2)
