It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother. She leaves to mourn her husband Franco, her children Adelina (Patrick Phelan) and Antonio (Linda Pinazza), her grandchildren James, Gregory, Sandra and Davide, her sister Ada, her niece Claudia who was very close to her, as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her brothers Domenico and Osvaldo.
Elisa was born in Montesilvano spiaggia, Pescara and immigrated to Canada in 1962. She started her family in Montreal but dearly missed her native land. She spoke fondly of her family and friends back home.
Elisa was devoted to her family and their well-being. She was always busy making a meal or a dessert for the people she loved. When her grandchildren were not feeling well, we would often joke that they should go to Nonnina’s Clinic to get better. She would dote on them, cook their favorite foods and love them with all of her heart.
She was always available to lend an ear to family and friends and always had good advice and kind words of encouragement to offer.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Neuro – A Brilliant Night in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
