David DeSanctis

December 26, 1951 - February 16, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Lawrence DeSanctis at the age of 66 after a courageous battle. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. He leaves behind to mourn his great love and support Halina and his beloved children: Rebecca and Jordan. He is survived by his sister Olga(Paul) and their children: Mia and  Adrian, his brother Burt(Karen) and their children: Bianca and Nicholas and his brother George(Julia) and their children: Tucker, Camden,Devon and Arden. A well rounded man; David was passionate about his family, his long career in finance and competitive sports. David also believed strongly in giving back through his involvement in many charity and community boards. David will be sadly missed by his family, many friend and collegues. The family wishes to express it’s most hearfelt appreciation to Scotty for always being there. We are forever grateful for David”s many friends who came to help him through this difficult time: Alex, Carolina, Dave, Gilbert, George,Josette,Kosta, Michael, Paulo, Peter, Simon, Tom and so many more.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the CHUM cancer ward in his memory would be appreciated.


Place of funeral

The funeral will take place on February 21, 2018 at 4:00 PM at St Brendan's Parish (3542 Rosemont Blvd, Montreal, QC H1X 1K8) followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery (4601 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, QC H3V 1E7)
